You know how in the movie, Forrest Gump, Jenny runs through the reflecting pool by the Lincoln memorial to get up close to Forrest? Well, last weekend, the reflecting pool was drained and so we walked through it to get to the Lincoln Memorial. I thought it was pretty cool, but it's just concrete covered in mud and other nasty stuff.
We tried to see the lunar eclipse that night, but it was too cloudy. We were able to see the sunset over the Lincoln Memorial. Nice.
