1. To spend most of your weekend on the couch watching the Olympic Games, even the pre-taped sports, like handball.2. To follow the Olympics all day at work waiting for new results, and then realizing that it is 3 in the morning in Beijing and nothing is happening.
Uses:
The Funks olympict all weekend. They literally sat on the couch from 2 pm until 11:30 pm just so they could see that awesome relay.
Also related: Twilighting: Similar obsessive behavior over vampire teen romance books. Only one Funk engages in this behavior, and no, she has not finished the fourth book. She is savoring it (and trying to finish her projects for the semester). She is also Olympicting. Sometimes she Olympicts at the same time as Twilighting, such as during the Opening Ceremony. Does not produce undivided attention.

call me back you silly girl. alright so we olympict all day yesterday. it was pathetic. girls gymnastics and swimming. woo hoo! we even got a seat by the TV at texas roadhouse on Saturday so we could watch sand volleyball! pathetic!

The men's 4x100 freestyle was an amazing race only to be topped by the celebration at the end. Lauren and I laughed and reenacted the celebration when Garrett Weber-Gale came from behind Phelps, under his right arm, and took front stage in the celebration. Classic. Of course, this was all topped when later Garrett called the French, "Frenchies" on national TV, a term which Lauren and I thought had gone the way of the Jitterbug before the start of the Berlin Airlift. Thankfully we beat the Limeys in the race too.
That relay was beyond words. Oh, and who doesn't love watching hot bod Michael Phelps flex all his muscles while jumping up and down in giddy excitement?! Ps...as his suit was seemingly falling off...or is that wishful thinking on my part ;)
It's midnight, our gymnasts just won and I just sang the National Anthem... so yes we are Olympicting here. You should have seen my dismount off of the bed.
You guys are so funny! Yes, we are definitely Olypicting too. And I bought the latest Twilight book today, so it sounds like we're on the same track. We can't wait to see you guys!
